. What is a fanzine? .A fanzine is a non-professional and non-official art or/and writings magazine publication produced by enthusiasts of a particular performer, group, or form of entertainment. In this case, the fanzine will be of Pentiment, an adventure role-playing video game developed by Obsidian Entertainment.. Will this zine be digital or physical? .This will be a digital zine, in form of a PDF file.. What type of content will be featured? .Contributors can create anything that fits in the general themes of the game.We will be featuring anything that could be written or digitally displayed into a zine. This could be a picture of your cosplay, sheet music of a song you wrote, or more traditionally; your digital art piece.
This means that traditional art can also be displayed, as long as you scan it in properly or take a proper picture. If you need help with this we can provide a tutorial on how to do it!. Are ship fanworks allowed? .Canon romantic relationships are allowed, but we will try to keep the focus on the themes of the game.
. Do I need to have experience to apply for the zine? .No, you do not.. How many contributors are expected? .We are hoping for about 30-40 creators.. Will this zine be for profit? .The contributors will get no monetary profit from this zine, we might raise money for charity, this will be discussed with contributors.. Will minors be able to apply? .Yes, the works will be SFW (Safe for Work).. Can I post my work to social media/sell my work?.During the zine production phase, contributors should refrain from sharing progress on social media. Further instructions and a template for sharing previews will be provided when the time comes. All contributors are welcome to post their work once the zine concludes. A more specific date will be given once the zine is in its formatting phase. Contributors own and retain the rights to the work they produce.
